HOW TO USE 

The process is simple:  

1. Spawning: Mix the substrate with fully colonised Sterilised Millet Mushroom Grain Spawn in a 2:1 ratio, ideally in a Monotub 

1. Colonisation: Allow the substrate to colonise for around two weeks 

1. Fruiting: After full colonisation, initiate fruiting conditions (airflow and light). Within a week or two, you’ll begin to see the first pins emerge

Our tried and tested Sterilised CVG Mushroom Substrate Bag is a premium blend of coco coir, vermiculite, and gypsum. Carefully hydrated to field capacity and sterilised in a computer-controlled steam autoclave for 2 hours at 121°C.  

The result is a perfect substrate that retains moisture, provides essential nutrients and creates an optimal environment for mycelium development, ensuring rapid colonisation, large yields, and minimal risk of contamination.
