Everything Mushroom was born from lived experience, not a marketing plan.
In 2007, I was diagnosed with Emotional Intensity Disorder, followed years later by ADD/ADHD. What followed was a long cycle of prescribed medications that managed symptoms but never delivered true healing. The turning point came after repeated exposure to Fantastic Fungi, which sparked a deep exploration into plant medicine and functional mushrooms. That curiosity became commitment, leading me down the path to attain diplomas in mycology and psychotropic plants.
With the encouragement of my wife—who introduced a more holistic perspective—I began to question the belief that healing only comes from conventional routes. Through careful personal experimentation and study, one thing became clear: nature’s pharmacy offers powerful tools for emotional balance, mental clarity, and long-term wellbeing.
After being made redundant from an 18-year career triggered a difficult period, and persistent downward spiral. With support and perspective, that loss reframed itself as an opportunity: a push to finally build something meaningful. That moment became the foundation of Everything Mushroom.
